Medhi Benatia retires from football!


Former Marseille, Roma, Bayern Munich and Juventus footballer Medhi Benatia has retired from football at the age of 34.

The former Moroccan representative has decided to end his career after staying in Karagumruk in Turkey and is leaving football after a long career at the highest levels.

He started his professional career at Marseille, while in 2010 he transferred to Italy to Udinese to continue at Roma and then thanks to appearances with the Giallorossi he transferred to Bayern Munich in 2014, where he won two Bundesliga titles and a DFB Pokal cup.

In 2017, Benatia returned to Serie A at Juventus and with the Old Lady won three Scudetto, two Italian Cups and an Italian Super Cup.

“From a young age I had only one dream. To become a professional footballer… Thank God I had the opportunity to become a professional footballer… ”.

“After more than 15 years of good and loyal service for football, playing in the most prestigious competitions, I decided to close my career!”, Benatia wrote in his announcement on social networks.
