“Super Vaccination Certificate” enters into force in Italy from Monday

The new Omicron variant has started to spread in many countries and has alerted the health authorities. Governments around the world are concerned about the rising number of infected people and are therefore taking drastic measures. From Monday in Italy citizens who submit a test that shows they are not infected will not be allowed access to bars, restaurants and other entertainment venues.

The only people who will be allowed to enter are the vaccinated and those who will prove that they have passed the disease. For vehicles and work premises, the authorities have left in force the previous rules, which will allow entry with a vaccination certificate, negative test and a document proving that they have passed the disease.

The Italian government has taken this measure to increase the number of vaccinations. This rule will remain in force until January 15.
