and care center is located in rural surroundings on Hisøy. Nyskogen bos has 35 long-term places, of which one is a sheltered ward. Nyskogen is a certified Livsglede nursing home. We want to give our residents a dignified old age – create the golden moments. The nurse who is hired will be part of the Livsgledegruppen.

We have a vacancy for a permanent position in 60% as a night nurse. It will be possible, if desired, to work extra beyond this. The position is vacant from 03.01.2022. There are 2 employees at night – nurse + skilled worker. The position is great to combinewith studies, children and possibly other activities . Tasks
- Nursing professional responsibility at night for 35 residents
- Contribute to a dignified, secure and meaningful old age.
- Ensure a good circadian rhythm and that the resident gets a good night’s sleep
- Ensure that the department’s routines and the doctor’s regulations regarding medication handling are followed
- Ensure proper documentation
- Ensure a sound distribution of resources on the house
- Contribute to creating a work environment characterized by generosity, security, respect and professional skill
Qualifications
- authorized nurse
- Experience and competence in geriatrics / dementia is desirable
- Knowledge of Gerica is an advantage
- Must master Norwegian orally and in writing
- Interest in the Joy of Life work is a prerequisite
