Norsk Saneringsservice has in recent years had a significant growth in projects, machines and employees – and we now want to expand the team with a new Controller. The position as Controller is central in strengthening the company’s profitability and growth. You will have a special focus on the company’s machinery, but also assist the projects with profitability assessments and ongoing financial follow-up. You will report to the CFO, at the same time as you will work closely with the chief engineer and project managers.

As a Controller , you will be responsible for analyzing the utilization of the machine park and whether it is adapted to the business, as well as handling the company’s leasing agreements. You will help prepare the Business Case for new investments and assist with the sale of machines. Together with the chief engineer, you will be a link between the machine park and all the projects we have. You will also be responsible for monthly reporting of machine utilization, in addition to assisting with the accounting of invoices from leasing companies and monthly reconciliation.

We believe that you have high integrity with good attitudes and ethical values ​​that identify with the company’s core values (Credible, Caring and Entrepreneurial). As a person, you are good at building relationships and have strong communication skills. We also believe that you have a high execution ability with structure and accuracy even at high speeds. To succeed in the position as Controller, you are independent and able to run processes on your own, as well as in teams.

We want you to have a degree in economics at the college level and preferably relevant experience as a financial or business controller, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply. It is an advantage if you are familiar with and have an interest in IT systems, MS Office and Power BI. You are flexible, ambitious and committed to achieving results that contribute to a high standard in the business.

Norsk Saneringsservice AS (NSS) is a company in NRC Group Norway and one of Norway’s largest companies in demolition and environmental remediation. The head office is located in Lysaker, with associated branch offices in the south (Porsgrunn), west (Bergen), east (Oslo) and north (Mosjøen). We are pr. today approx. 110 employees. We have a new and modern machine park and expertise to demolish all types of buildings and structures.
